So often, I struggle with the feeling of powerlessness in the face of the turbulence and division in our society. The challenges of the last few years compelled me to consider the great impact I wanted to make during my lifetime.
Dealing with these kinds of existential questions, I found myself focusing my energy upon the legacy I wish to leave after I’ve died. As part of that process, I have chosen to include Bridgercare in my end-of-life estate planning, recognizing that I can contribute to support a cause about which I deeply care long after I am gone. Although fierce storms continue to rage, I feel empowered and at peace knowing I am contributing to a brighter future for the next generation.

Thinking about estate planning was difficult for us to begin and year after year we put it off. One day we found an attorney who initiated thought-provoking conversations about making end-of-life decisions.
