Jennifer Alves, Finance Director

Jennifer was born and raised in Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Merrimack College, attended nursing school at Simmons College, and received her graduate degree in Human Resource from Framingham State University. After 15 years as a Business & Finance Manager in a multi-franchise powersports dealership, Jennifer changed her career focus to nonprofit organizations. Most recently Jennifer led a consulting practice providing outsourced accounting, HR, and operations management services to both for profit and nonprofit clients.

Jennifer’s interest in healthcare began as a young family caregiver while her commitment to Bridgercare’s mission resulted from her own personal experience as a patient in reproductive medicine. Jennifer volunteers as the Board Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committe for a New England based nonprofit supporting people struggling with fertility and family building. Jennifer and her family moved to Bozeman in 2024 after falling in love with Montana during two family trips the prior year. In her free time, she enjoys experimenting with metal work and ceramics or spending time outdoors, in the garden, skiing, biking, and in the crystal-clear rivers and lakes of Montana.
